We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the land development and construction document preparation for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in road design, storm drainage systems, water and sanitary sewer utility design, sediment and erosion control, and traffic control associated with residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The candidate will work collaboratively in a small team environment, demonstrating strong relationships with team members, and be proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software.Key Responsibilities:Design land development and construction documents for roads, storm drainage systems, water and sanitary sewer utility design, sediment and erosion control, and traffic control for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.Collaborate within a small team to perform civil site/land development design, permitting, and construction observation.Develop strong working relationships with team members and clients.Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software for the design of land development projects.Perform technical design calculations associated with land development projects, including storm drainage hydraulic sizing, water distribution modeling, BMP, sanitary sewer collection systems, erosion control measures, etc.Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations, including quantity take-offs and opinions of probable construction cost.Perform site visits and prepare associated field reports.Observe and coordinate various field testing activities, such as water pressure testing, gravity sewer low-pressure testing, manhole vacuum testing, etc.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSCE) or Engineering Technology (BSCET).EI/EIT certification required.3-10 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience.Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Shift and Hours:Monday - Friday8 am - 5 pmHybrid role after training periodPay Rate: $36/hr. - $50/hr.Contact Information: If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.
