Job Description:

Seeking a motivated Software Engineer with experience developing enterprise C2S cloud applications. As a senior member of an integrated-contractor-program, you will lead and support complex system design, development, test, and integration issues, vendor reviews, analysis, discussions, and recommendations. You will provide technical expertise and support technical solution design meetings, oversee, monitor, track, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance issues across several disciplines, and provide expert guidance to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers.

Qualifications:

Experience:

1. Minimum of eight (8) years of full-stack development experience in C2S cloud environments.
2. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (serverless, scalability, high availability, and durability).
3. Experience with relational and NoSQL database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
4. Experience with data indexes (ElasticSearch or Lucene).
5. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Angular.js, and React.
6. Comfortable with Linux or Unix-based operating systems (command line operations, bash scripting).
7. Configuration Management (CM) experience using Git.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (i.e. CloudFormation).
2. Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, ALB, IAM, and SQS).
3. Familiarity with RMF+ security accreditation process and coding to security standards.
4. General awareness of popular open source frameworks, libraries, and packages.
5. Ability to determine technical direction from high-level requirements.

Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant engineering discipline; or:

1. High School diploma or GED + six (6) additional years of relevant experience; or
2. Associates degree + four (4) additional years of experience; or
3. Masters degree AND six (6) minimum years of relevant experience; or
4. PhD AND four (4) minimum years of relevant experience.

Certification:

DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives required.
