DescriptionWith the Associate CAD Designer, we will grow engineering talent, with those that are passionate for aviation, into world-class engineering team members, through hands-on exposure to rotorcraft electrical and mechanical CAD design activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support engineering staff by working alongside a team of Engineers and CAD Designers to produce detailed design drawings that meet project and drawing standard requirements using SolidWorks, E3 and PDM CAD tools.Assist in mock-up efforts associated with new design development.Research material and part specifications.Coordinate design issues with senior engineering staff.Contribute to project milestones on multiple projects.Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:AS in CAD Drafting or equivalent Basic CAD proficiency certificate.Aware of CAD design and aerospace engineering roles.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft applications.Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual origin, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
