With your technical and organizational aptitude, we’ll rely on you to contribute management activities for the team’s work on this complex project. As a part of this role, you will be expected to use your leadership and communication skills to develop a trusted relationship with the project team, contractor and with the client’s staff. Your responsibility will be to effectively communicate with all members of the project team and work to mitigate or eliminate project risks. You’ll be expected to place an emphasis on safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction.Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.Responsibilities:Lead and supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.Evaluate construction progress and quality against approved schedules and budgets, adjusting as needed.Review progress payments and oversee inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.Assess bid package documents and recommend adjustments.Ensure all construction documents align with design development documents in terms of scope, schedule, and budget.Customize general conditions for each bid package and monitor contractor performance.Facilitate client and project manager participation in meetings to enhance engagement.Resolve construction issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality.Manage field directives and compile daily reports to monitor progress and address challenges.Oversee quality assurance and design consultant inspections.Conduct weekly meetings to discuss progress, issues, and forecasts.Manage construction contracts and certify payment requests.Verify compliance with financial protocols and legal and regulatory frameworks.Coordinate with local utilities to minimize disruption.Guide scope changes and project closeout and transition to client occupancy while meeting established standards and expectations.Bachelor degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management15+ years of experience with mega infrastructure projects, preferably in aviation, with emphasis on vertical structures and structural engineeringExperience with complex aviation projects, with an emphasis on full project deliveryAbility to read, analyze and interpret contractual and technical documentsAbility to pass a 10-year background security check for the purpose of acquiring an airport security badgeValid driver’s license and driving record which meets Jacobs and Client driving requirementsWilling and able to work Monday-Friday from the Program office located at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International AirportIdeally, you’ll also have:Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licenseEffective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal / external correspondenceSponsorship is not available for this position.
