Senior Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly qualified, experienced Senior Process Engineer at their Indianapolis, IN location to support their work in creating sustainable manufacturing processes for a better future.

Position Overview:

• Lead and manage engineering projects related to process design and improvement.
• Develop and enhance manufacturing workflows for greater efficiency and sustainability.
• Oversee the transition of products from initial concepts to full-scale manufacturing.
• Ensure equipment is properly sized and processes are validated to meet quality standards.
• Implement systems that enable real-time monitoring and control of production processes.
• Manage project deadlines, costs, and key milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to address environmental concerns and troubleshoot issues.
• Support the preparation of technical design packages, including necessary calculations and specifications.
• Conduct safety and regulatory assessments to ensure compliance.
• Provide operational and maintenance support, contributing to technical reports and long-term plans.
• Identify sources of contamination, manage site investigations, and conduct safety audits.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in process engineering within the manufacturing or environmental sectors.
• Strong expertise in process design, optimization, and scaling production efforts.
• Proven experience in equipment sizing, process validation, and product scale-up.
• Knowledgeable in sustainable manufacturing practices and waste reduction techniques.
• Familiarity with waste treatment systems, including handling hazardous materials and chemical processing.
• Proficient in working with biological filtration systems and managing complex projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations across various governmental levels.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, organization, and communication.
