Chamberlain Group (CG) is a global leader in access solutions with brands like LiftMaster and Chamberlain. They are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain platforms for the Chamberlain MyQ program. This role involves working with various teams to understand and translate product requirements, verify development, and maintain a high-quality code base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4 years of job-related experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, technical documentation, Microsoft technology stack, Visual Studio, GIT, and work estimation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of OOP, SOLID, RESTful services
  • Basic understanding of dependency injection, cloud development
  • Experience with MQTT, AMQP, RabbitMQ, CI/CD tools, project planning, and reporting progress
  • Good communication skills, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, work cross-functionally, and travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Develop middleware using Agile methodologies
  • Analyze requirements, collaborate, participate in peer reviews
  • Provide mentoring, lead technical discussions, work with offshore teams
  • Ensure coding standards, security compliance, health, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain professional knowledge, contribute to team effort
