Digital Electrical Engineer

Our client is a leading maker of antennas for Defense and Space. The company has been around for over 60 years and has grown rapidly in the last 10 years. They have multiple locations in the US and have products that are vital for markets including EW and Military Communications.

They are currently seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for solving complex RF, Microwave, and DSP design challenges. He/she will be heavily involved in existing sensor, communication, and ISR systems.

Qualifications:

1. MSEE with 15+ years of experience or PhDEE with 5+ years of experience in Digital Electrical Engineering
2. Multi-disciplined with experience in designing, testing, and optimizing electronics and software/firmware for communication and sensor systems
3. Extensive hardware and software/firmware exposure including FPGA, MCU, and SoC technology
4. Familiarity with Verilog and C programming
5. Ability to transition design to manufacturing (a plus, but not required)
6. Experience managing design teams (a plus, but not required)
7. Ability to develop and maintain contracts, grants, and relationships with defense prime contractors and the DoD (a plus)
