CIVIL ENGINEER
The Professional Engineer uses engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services and models for customers.
***This is a DIRECT role and 100% onsite.***
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer’s requirements.
• Assure building’s structural integrity and safety
• Develop own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge
• Focus on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team
• Assure customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules
• Provide technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level Designers
• Develop structural quotes
Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Four (4) years of engineering experience
• Solid knowledge of building codes and specifications
Preferred Education & Experience Qualifications:
• Two plus (2+) years of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) experience
• Competent knowledge of company product and design procedures
• Competent in company systems and applications Technical Skills & Competencies
• PC competence (Including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
