About The Role

We are looking for a Content Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of immigrants and their families by offering the most reliable financial services globally. You will report to the Senior Content Design Manager.

In this role, you'll design with a focus on language and how it's used. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing product flows, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation structures, product nomenclature, and more.

As an important member of the Lending team, you will help shape the content vision and strategy for our new product offerings. This will involve building relationships with partners, such as Product Management, Product Design, Brand and Marketing, Engineering, and Localization teams. By doing so, you will help create consistent product narratives across various platforms and touchpoints.

This is a hybrid role and our office is located in Seattle, WA.

You Will

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our mission to deliver pioneering lending and financial products.
  2. Craft engaging, clear, and concise in-product language, guides, and narratives that simplify complex financial concepts, enhancing user experience and fostering trust.
  3. Lead content design initiatives, including product flow, terminology, and framework development, to support seamless user journeys and product understanding.
  4. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Brand, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and persuasive narrative across all platforms and touchpoints.
  5. Utilize data and user feedback to inform content decisions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  6. Engage with compliance and legal teams to ensure content integrity and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

You Have

  1. Minimum of 5+ years of content design or relevant UX writing experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
  3. A UX content design portfolio including, but not limited to: end-to-end customer journeys, user interface copy, microcopy, user education, preferably with a focus on in-product experiences.
  4. Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complex flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.
  5. Familiarity with design tools including Figma.
  6. Familiarity with content design tools such as empathy maps, messaging matrices, and voice and tone spectrum guidelines.
  7. Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way.
  8. Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process.

Compensation Details

The starting base salary range for this position is typically $124,000-$155,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
