What You Will Do
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming both front-end and back-end solutions in .NET Core or Java. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application with backend functionality. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What You Will Need
- Minimum Degree Required: 4-yrs Bachelor's degree
- US Citizenship required
- Minimum of 2 years professional development experience in .NET Core and/or Java.
- Expertise in front-end web development using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Responsive Design, and Bootstrap).
- Experience doing Full-stack development.
- Extensive working experience with:
- JavaScript Frameworks (React.js - Frontend, Node.js - backend, and modern JavaScript libraries)
- API development (.NET Core/GraphQL/RESTful)
- Messaging (Kafka, AWS Kinesis or others)
- Experience applying best practices to source code management in GitHub.
- Ability to develop functional web-based applications and experience developing cloud native solutions according to industry best practices.
- Experience with systems design and architecture.
- Experience in Agile software development and project management tools such as JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience translating organizational needs into web application solutions through implementing custom code.
- Experience collaborating with backend development teams to design JSON APIs that the user interface will use.
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
- Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience, and location.
- This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.
- Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Serverless application development using AWS Lambda, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services (Lambda, S3, Dynamo, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift and several others).
- Experience building 508 compliant solutions.
- CMS experience (WordPress, Drupal).
- Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure).
