Position Summary, Manufacturing Process Engineer

This position serves as a critical technical bridge between Engineering and Operations, ensuring seamless product transition from development to manufacturing. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Development: Oversee prototype builds and manage the release of products to manufacturing processes.

Quality Assurance: Analyze customer returns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

Process Management: Manage the Failure Analysis Investigation and Reporting (FAIR) process to ensure thorough investigation and resolution of quality problems.

Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical liaison between Engineering and Operations, providing technical guidance and support to production teams.

Test Development: Establish product test protocols and fixtures to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Equipment Management: Maintain a database of test equipment and production test fixtures to support efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an emphasis on electro-mechanical systems.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the electronics or electro-mechanical field.
  • Certified IPC Specialist Training Course completion.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing job shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency in soldering and PCB assembly.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with various electrical test equipment and their uses.
  • Adaptability to changing business environments.
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary to be determined by the experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data.
