Entry Level Manufacturing EngineerOur client, a top manufacturing client located near Amherst, MA, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in a long term, full time position! In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement manufacturing (assembly and test) processes. Other job responsibilities include:Perform a complete range of drafting as required, system & component updates, and other related duties to produce accurate product results and output.Support Quality Management System and ISO 9001 CertificationWork collaboratively with Quality Assurance and other functions to meet ISO and Customer requirements.Develop and implement Manufacturing Assembly and Test Procedures and Processes.Assist in preparing or assembling materials for correspondence or distribution, such as drawing submittals and routine technical communication with customers/suppliers.Perform a complete range of drafting (as required), detailing, system updates, and other related duties to produce accurate engineering documentation.Prepare (for implementation) a range of simple to complex engineering documentation packages, consisting of Mechanical, Machining, and Electrical disciplines.Maintain project files and design/product records, as applicable.Assist with problem resolution action and coordinate Contract Reviews & Product Planning.Desired Experience:Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or Associates with extended experience)Experience working in a manufacturing environment (internships are fine)Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidworksWe are looking to set interviews immediately, so please apply today for more information!About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
