Oracle Developer

Location : Ashburn VA (Hybrid)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Finance Techno-Functional Analyst with expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P) flow, finance modules including Purchasing, Account Payables, General Ledger, Project Accounting, and Fixed Assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Oracle Grants, Encumbrance Accounting, AME Rule Setup, SQL, and PL/SQL programming, as well as experience with API integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide support for technical and functional requirements while driving system enhancements and resolving production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide techno-functional expertise in Oracle Financials modules (Purchasing, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets) and P2P process.
• Lead integrations and provide support for various Oracle APIs, ensuring seamless data flows across systems.
• Perform functional setups, configurations, and AME rule setups to support business processes.
• Develop and support SQL queries and PL/SQL programming for report generation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare technical and functional design documents (MD50, MD70), and deliver customized solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation such as Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and technical specifications.
• Execute end-to-end testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and manage test cases for each financial module.
• Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolution of production issues.
• Assist with the full lifecycle of Oracle Finance implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in technical and process matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Apps Technical Analyst with strong functional exposure to financial modules, including Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Project Accounting, Inventory, and Order Management.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Developer Suite (Reports), Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
• Proven experience in Oracle Financials, Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (OTC) cycles.
• Experience in developing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements using Oracle APIs, PL/SQL, and XML Gateway.
• Strong understanding of Grants, Encumbrance Accounting, and AME Rule setups.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and the ability to support complex API integrations.
• Ability to design and configure Oracle solutions, and support multi-module implementations and upgrades (11i to R12).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform impact assessments for upgrades or enhancements.
• Adept at developing business logic and performing performance tuning for Oracle Financials R12.2.
• Experience in creating technical and functional documentation including MD50, MD70, and BRD.
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
