Senior Engineer, Distribution Engineering System Design Analysis

Required Education/ExperienceBachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering and 8 years of related work experience in the Electric Industry.Relevant Work ExperienceMust have 8 years of experience with applying technical knowledge and field experience of the electrical distribution system including substations, non-network and 4kV grids - its required.Must have 8 years of experience with applying knowledge of electrical distribution network systems, distributed generation interconnection designs, and system design specifications - its required.Must have 6 years of experience with performing electrical load flow analysis, fault analysis, and short circuit analysis - its required.Must have 6 years of experience working with analytical software such as SINCAL, CAPE, ETAP, DigSilent, or CYME TCC - its required.Must have 4 years of experience performing voltage regulation studies and relay coordination studies - its required.Licenses And CertficationsDriver's License RequiredPhysical DemandsSit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workdayStand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workdayAdditional Physical DemandsMust be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.EEO Statement:Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
