CNC Machinist II - Horizontal Dept (3rd Shift)Grand Haven, MI ( is searching for a CNC Machinist II who will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations by efficiently operating and maintaining CNC machinery. This position requires a solid understanding of CNC operations, the ability to perform complex setups, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met. Under the guidance of our production team, you will contribute to the success of our manufacturing processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperate CNC machines to produce components, monitoring machining processes, and making real-time adjustments as needed for optimal performanceConduct thorough quality inspections using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify part dimensions and qualityMake necessary tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments based on production requirements and engineering specificationsPerform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes. Identify and report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needsTroubleshoot machine issues and quality problems, implementing corrective actions as required to maintain production flow and quality standardsFollow strict safety protocols, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
