Software Developer

Job Duties : Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Position requires:

1. Designing, developing, and building software systems, including application and system software development;
2. Object-oriented programming and effective unit testing;
3. Java programming language;
4. Software development in Linux or Unix environment;
5. Scripting languages including Python or Perl;
6. Data structures and algorithms;
