Job Summary:
Supermicro System Manufacturing Team is looking for a talented Sr. System Validation Engineer to support the operation in the system production to conduct various system testing in the production. The ideal candidate must have solid knowledge in server architecture and ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform motherboard and server system application validation testing
- Conduct functional and compatibility testing on various operating systems such as Linux and Windows
- Perform motherboard and hardware functional validation testing
- Perform server configuration and system performance testing
- Report hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking systems
- Duplicate customers motherboard issue if needed
- Work with customers and product management to understand production use of the product and understand advanced functionality requirements
- Expert technical knowledge of designing and implementing Server system
- Familiar with GPU testing and benchmarks
- Must be able to multi-task and meet demanding target dates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE or similar
- 8+ years of working experience in system or component testing
- Expert technical knowledge of designing and implementing Server system
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range:
$107,000 - $158,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
