Senior Backend Engineer

Samson Rose has been engaged by an AI client of ours to help find a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer. They were founded in 2022 and are developing an AI-powered relationship management platform to radically expand our capacity to stay connected with our contacts.

The person they are looking for should:

• Be experienced in Python, FastAPI, OpenAPI, Postgres, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform
• Come with both strong opinions rooted in experience and an excitement for debate to discover the best solutions
• Be detail-oriented yet stay grounded in the big picture
• Thrive as a 0 to 1 product engineer

The role:

• Drive development of their backend APIs and services
• Document and communicate their architectural decisions
• Coordinate team members around development cycles
