About the Role:

You are a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional with a passion for semiconductor physics and technology. With a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Sciences, you bring profound expertise in advanced semiconductor devices and process technology. Your experience with TCAD simulation tools and advanced understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, such as plasma etch, thin film, implant, and anneal, makes you a valuable asset. You have hands-on experience with Linux and scripting languages such as TCL and Python. Your excellent presentation and communication skills enable you to interact effectively at various levels within customer organizations. You thrive in collaborative environments, always ready to help others succeed.


Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary technical interface with customers for our TCAD products.
  • Assisting customers in evaluating, using, and applying TCAD tools to their specific needs.
  • Providing consulting services to customers and enhance the value of TCAD for technology development in advanced logic, memory, or specialty semiconductors.
  • Collaborating with R&D, sales, marketing, and customers to drive product development and acceptance.
  • Providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical support for TCAD products.
  • Managing customer projects, including definition, execution, and follow-up.
  • Conducting customer training sessions and offering internal guidance for product enhancements.


Qualifications:

PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Sciences, or a related field.


Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in semiconductor process technology, such as plasma etch, thin film, implant, and thermal processes.
  • Hands-on experience with TCAD simulation or emulation tools.
  • Advanced understanding of semiconductor device physics.
  • Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages such as TCL and Python.

Pay range and compensation package:

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $126,000-$190,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
