Print Production Package Designer (Jr. – Mid)

• Onsite in San Fransisco, 5 days a week, no exceptions
• 12-month contract
• W2 hourly pay $58-62
• Clean, print-ready artworkfollowing guidelines in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Responsibilities:
This position requiresstrong organizational skills, print expertise, adaptive design ability, typesetting skills, andacute attention to detail. The ability to undertakemultiple projectsandcommunicate with key stakeholdersis essential.

• Producing and adapting packaging artwork
• Creating and editing presentation decks
• Assisting with soft-proof/hard-proof reviews
• Coordinating with external production vendors
• Optimizing digital images and assets for print
• Helping build and update packaging style guides
• Completing multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in a design/production environment
• Significant experience with print and/or packaging
• BA/BS in Design
• Excellent Adobe Illustrator and InDesign skills
• Proficient in Photoshop
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Ability to create and maintain scalable solutions
• Multi-language artwork experience a plus
• International packaging experience a plus
• Color correction skills a plus
• Illustration skills a plus
