Responsibilities
Do you enjoy diving into new development and formulating a testing approach in areas like cloud computing, networking, IoT with real time operating systems, controls and algorithms? You will have significant influence over the quality of the product, engage with developers and users to understand new features and technologies, and create innovative testing solutions within tight requirements to solve complex scenarios with multiple components.
- Support the software engineering team by improving the quality of the software and efficiency of the team.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and automation.
- Write technical test approaches, failure analysis and risk mitigation.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and risk analysis.
- Troubleshoot software incidents in production.
- Execute tests both on a generator and in simulated lab environments.
Qualifications
- Driven and self-directed enthusiastic contributor.
- Passion for testing software systems.
- Demonstrated industry experience in test planning, test execution, and automation in quality assurance.
The Bay Area salary for this role is $105k-$118k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA. The salary will be adjusted based on the experience of the employee.
