Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
What You’ll Do:
The successful candidate will participate in a variety of tasks to include the Verification and Validation of PATRIOT real-time embedded tactical software, development and execution of PATRIOT system training programs, the development of Patriot Technical Manuals, and the development of Technical Data Packages (TDP) for the TCS and BCP. These system-engineering activities in support of the PATRIOT program will include:
Analysis of Patriot System Test Data
Software Requirements analysis
Designing and conducting software validation test
Analysis of TCS/BCP test data to determine test objective status (PASS/FAIL)
Developing lesson plans and Technical Manuals for elements of the Patriot system
Training soldiers on the Patriot System
Participate in the upgrade of the TCS and BCP TDPs
Participate in peer reviews, resolving identified problems, interfacing with, and providing support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead, System Engineering lead, and other team members
This role is an onsite role, located in Huntsville, AL.
Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines both internally and externally
Will require periodic travel CONUS and OCONUS.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Patriot Missile Systems, or similar large scale air defense weapons system
Four (4) years of experience with project management
Four (4) years of supervisory experience overseeing daily tasks?
Experience reading and interpreting engineering schematics
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Good written and oral skills, example presenting to a key customers via virtual, onsite, or directly.

Craft presentations, briefing notes and reports that convey complex information effectively to government related officials.

Experience understanding contractual agreements and the legal ramifications of all types of documents and data presented to stakeholders.
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM)
Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. (Example, preparing a presentation package for briefs, consolidating information from a variety of sources for a particular presentation.) Excel-will require advanced levels skills to include pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

Security+ or other equivalent security related, industry recognized certification. Networking a plus, and experience with how to work with tactical system and battery command post. (Command & Control Nodes from the Patriot)
Experience with Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems
Earned Value certification, Cost Account Management experience, leadership rolls
