Join a leading-edge Aerospace company as an Electrical Design Engineer, where you'll have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in an exciting and collaborative work environment. This is an onsite role based in Southampton PA.


This role involves creating electrical drawing packages for advanced flight training simulators, including human centrifuges that help train fighter pilots to withstand up to 15 Gs. You'll be working on cutting-edge systems, including servo motors, drives, PC data acquisition for analog and digital I/O, operator control panels, transformers, power supplies, electrical slip rings, and audio/video equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify electrical design packages for custom flight training simulators, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Customize electrical drawings that are 80% complete, adjusting the remaining 20% to meet specific machine and client requirements.
  • Design control panels, wiring, and electrical systems for simulator machinery, focusing on efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with production teams during product integration to ensure seamless execution of electrical designs.
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure the accuracy of electrical components and systems.
  • Work closely with machinery assembly, providing technical expertise during the design and integration phases.
  • Use AutoCAD Electrical to design and draft electrical systems for advanced simulators and associated machinery.


Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably for machinery or equipment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Familiarity with Fieldbus technology (CANbus, INTERBUS, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic grounding principles is a plus.
  • Understanding of UL standards is highly desired.
  • Experience with machinery assembly and control panel design is an advantage.


Salary : 90,000 - 115,000

Hours : Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm

Location : Southampton PA (Onsite)
