Project Engineer - Heavy Highway Construction
Compensation: Competitive, 65K – 90K DOE
Steelhead Constructors, a Redding, CA based General Engineering Contractor, is actively seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Project Engineer. The position requires a sharp, professional, motivated individual. We provide a diverse amount of experience in a relatively short time frame, and the possibility of rapid advancement for high performing employees. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other engineering related field is a prerequisite. Equivalent experience and education in project or field engineering may be considered.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting estimators with bid preparation
- Assisting project managers with project administration
- Assisting superintendents with planning and tracking
- Procurement and engineering

Job Requirements:
Minimum education requirement is an Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree.
Required personal qualities include:

- The ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and deadlines
Required professional skills include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
