Salary: $115,000 - $134,000 per year

Job Details

~ A DAY IN YOUR LIFE ~

1. Add value and contribution to data engineering tasks throughout the ETL process.
2. Implement processes and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
3. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the reporting solutions.
4. Ongoing training to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
5. Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization tools.
6. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
7. Manage all Data Pipelines maintained in Azure to ensure the data set is properly ingested into the data warehouse.
8. In-depth knowledge of Power BI features, including but not limited to DAX, PowerQuery, Model Management and Structures, Power BI Service Dynamic Security, Automated Data Cleansing experience.
9. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
10. Maintain existing Power BI reports and datasets.
11. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI solutions into the existing infrastructure.

~ WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM ~

1. BI Tools
2. Data modeling
3. SQL Database Management
4. Basic programming
5. Experience In:
1. Data Engineering or SQL Database Management
2. Low-code/no-code development using Microsoft PowerApps
3. Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
4. 5+ years of experience working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS)
5. JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries
6. Data modeling, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.)
7. Database operations and optimization for MySQL

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

Microsoft Power BI Certification preferred.

Power BI development and dashboard creation and data visualization.

Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and database management.
