Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Estimator at Midsouth Mechanical Inc. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing bids, analyzing drawings, and collaborating with the project management team. The role is primarily based in LaGrange, GA, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Estimating, Cost Analysis, and Bid Preparation skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of design build HVAC, mechanical equipment, systems, and processes
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Experience in industrial or mechanical contracting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field experience
