We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong technical and problem-solving skills to join the team at LevelTen, reporting to the Director of Infrastructure. This individual will have strong Data engineering skills to ensure reliable Data delivery, warehousing, and quality.

Responsibilities

1. Build high quality Data pipelines that drive analytics for the LevelTen Energy Platform.
2. Develop SQL and Python scripts for managing the reliability and quality of Data.
3. Provide technical support to Software engineering, Product, and Analytics teams on our Data pipelines platform.
4. Implement Data models using SQL and Dataform.
5. Build automation around Data governance and contracts.

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of Data engineering experience.
2. Demonstrated experience with Python and SQL.
3. Demonstrated experience with ELT and Data ingestion pipelines.
4. Demonstrated experience in BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
5. Demonstrated experience with Data Modeling techniques and Data Warehousing standard methodologies and practices.
6. Knowledge of HTTP protocols and REST APIs preferred.
7. Knowledge of parsing Data frames (Pandas, Polars, Parquet, etc) and file formats (CSV and Excel) with Python is preferred.
8. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Additional Information

• This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule). Remote candidates with exceptionally strong qualifications may be considered.
• The estimated compensation for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
