Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer to lead the development of new products from tapeout to mass production. The ideal candidate will design characterization/testing plans, collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers, and resolve technical issues to meet performance requirements. For existing products, the successful candidate will maintain technical support and drive yield improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement characterization/testing plans for new products
  • Collaborate with R&D teams and manufacturing engineers to resolve technical issues
  • Analyze yield data and drive corrective actions for yield improvements
  • Lead product introduction and ramp-up processes for image sensors and ASIC devices
  • Develop and finalize product datasheets based on characterization results
  • Work closely with testing engineers to develop, verify, and release testing programs
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for product definition and DFM inputs
  • Maintain and sustain technical support for existing products
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in image sensor, memory (flash, SRAM, DRAM), or ASIC products
  • Familiarity with silicon processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Mandarin speaking and writing proficiency (highly preferred)


Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $80,600 - $115,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
