We are seeking a talented Founding Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our founding team to design, build, and scale the company's platform. You'll tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment, taking solutions from concept to implementation. As the company grows, your role will evolve to include mentoring and leadership responsibilities within the engineering team. The team brings varied and thorough experiences to tackle complex problems in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will take solutions from 0 to 1, maintaining full ownership over all services you build. As the company grows, your role will evolve to include managing and mentoring new hires, and taking on an engineering leadership role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced engineering organization, tackling complex problems and demonstrating a strong ability to learn and adapt. While prior fintech experience is beneficial, it is not required; we will provide the necessary domain knowledge. We value individuals who are eager to learn, willing to go the distance, and committed to reshaping financial services for millions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable solutions for the company's platform.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to drive technical strategy and execution.
- Implement advanced algorithms and models to enhance product functionality.

Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven track record in high-growth startup environments.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and empathetic communication skills.
- Deep curiosity and eagerness to learn across domains and products.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience building trading systems.
- Prior fintech industry experience.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation.
