Job Title: Senior IAM Engineer

Location: Newark, NJ

Duration: Fulltime

Job Details:

Experience with working in a Scrum Agile development Team.

Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.

Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.

Experience providing documentation and diagrams for all architecture, builds, and configurations for solutions provided.

Advanced experience and/or expertise in several of the following:

  1. ForgeRock SAAS or On Prem. This includes ability to install and configure RCS with different types of data stores.
  2. Other IAM Platforms: Okta, SailPoint, Ping, a plus.
  3. Experience with creating Account Profiles, Authentication and Authorization policies and schemes for users to fit various use case scenarios.
  4. Experience working as a Trusted Advisor in a collaborative environment and serving as a Senior IAM expert advising on sometimes Complex Use Cases.
  5. DevOps Platform: Experience working with AWS CI/CD Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT a plus.
  6. Programming: Python, Java, Node, Groovy, Shell/Power Shell Scripting a plus.
  7. Standards/Specs: OAUTH2/SAML/OIDC/WebAutN Required.
  8. Experience with Session Management (Client, Server) Required Knowledge of Infrastructure fundamentals.
  9. Linux / UNIX/Windows Operating Systems.
  10. Database Fundamentals: Schemas, Tables, Permissions, SQL.
  11. Networking, TCP/IP and other common Communication Protocols: OSI Model, 3 Way Handshake, Stateful vs Stateless, Proxy Firewall.
  12. Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
  13. Logging & Monitoring: Dynatrace and Splunk, Change Management, Problem management, industry standard tooling.
  14. Test/Quality capabilities & methodologies (functional & nonfunctional) and associated tooling including quality automation.
  15. Infrastructure & Cloud Security best practices including DevSecOps.
  16. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Development and Design Fundamentals including SDLC and coding standards.
  17. Cloud Computing: Understanding and knowledge (of 1 or more): AWS, Azure or GCP.
  18. Documentation: Experience creating Architecture Designs, Technical guides, Operational Runbooks, Integration and Design specifications required.

7+ years or better experience providing Architecture and Design, Requirements Gathering and developing solutions for IAM/CIAM implementations preferably with ForgeRock.

Demonstrated experience with excellent communication skills leading and driving large Enterprise CIAM implementations. This includes relationship and cross collaborations with Tech Lead, C-Level, Senior Stakeholders and Product Owners throughout the organization. International Experience a plus.

Provide guidance and technical expertise integrating Applications into ForgeRock platform. This requires Senior expertise with creating Journeys, Policies, Scripting, and implementation using ForgeRock SDKs.

Experience with SiteMinder, RiskMinder a plus.

Senior IAM knowledge and preferably experience working with customer facing applications that require OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Certificate based Authentication to name a few.

Demonstrated experience working with ForgeRock or other IAM products that are SAAS or Cloud based. Hands on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP desired.

Demonstrated experience working in Cybersecurity organization with a Technical Engineering focus on CIAM/IAM.

Collaborate with Tech Lead in understanding needs and defining features working with technical leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions.
