About The Projects:

• Greenfield web application to capture workflow for our loan review team. MVP is complete, and now we are building out additional functionality. Technologies: Java, Angular, TypeScript, Oracle, AWS - S3.
• Greenfield web application to capture workflow for our counterparty credit risk team. Groundbreaking October 2023. Technologies: Java, Angular, TypeScript, Oracle, AWS - S3.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PL/SQL, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver software enhancements on a 2-week Agile cadence.
• Understand project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to the overall technical direction.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to suggest and implement improvements.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and PL/SQL.
• Solid understanding of design patterns.
• Experience with micro-services architecture and implementation.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins, Genesis, Azure DevOps, Redshift, Node.js, Sonar, and GIT.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS offerings.
• Previous exposure to the banking or financial industry.
• Docker/Container Orchestration.

Education/Previous Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related degree and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience approved by HR.
