Overview:

A BI consultant with a primary focus of this position to provide architectural guidance and technological recommendations that support the development and implementation of DW/BI solutions in PI area.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must be experienced working in projects involving QlikView
2. Understand where to obtain information needed to make appropriate decisions
3. Demonstrate ability to break down a problem into manageable pieces and implement effective, timely solutions
4. Identify the problem versus the symptom
5. Manage problems that require involvement of others to solve
6. Carefully evaluate alternative risks and solutions before taking action
7. Optimize the use of all available resources
8. Develop solutions to meet business needs that reflect a clear understanding of the objectives, practices, and procedures of the corporation, department, and business unit

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of off-shore Agile Business Intelligence developers, responsible for all Analytic Portfolio in the defined area of scope.
2. Review business requirements for all work requests and communicate with offshore what is needed, estimation and scheduling of deliverables, providing status reports, escalating issues, and quality assurance.
3. Mentor and coach the offshore team in the use of reporting tools and meeting deliverables while managing their workload.
4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable coordinating multiple requests with short turnaround timelines.

Skills:

1. 6-8 years of work experience in BI tool - QlikView
2. Good analytical and logical skills in writing SQLs, Stored Procedures, and creating Marts/Views in Teradata
3. Experience in analyzing requirements and developing specifications and tasks for off-shore developers
4. Business Intelligence-focused reporting
5. Advanced level in SQL, QlikView & other visualization tools
6. 4-year degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
7. Experience working within a highly-matrixed organization
8. Strong communication and presentation skills
