Expert Systems/Cloud Engineer - Sensor Integration

The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking an Expert-level (18+ years) Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic Sensor Integration team in either Springfield or Chantilly VA. The Sensor Integration team supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for NGA’s Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office. This team provides strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. Candidates require a solid understanding of cloud engineering and will act as the Lead Engineer's liaison to AWS to ensure the expected services/products are delivered.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.

18+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.

Solid understanding of Cloud Engineering.

Understanding of data models/schema for ETL into Data Warehouses or Data Lakehouses within a Data Lake.

Understanding of the documentation of APIs.

TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Target Salary Range:
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
