Job Details

Are you a passionate, driven, and dynamic Manufacturing Engineer? Do you love electronics and working with cutting edge technology? This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals where you will be responsible for improving manufacturing systems and processes to achieve operational excellence. You will be at the forefront of driving efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of proven manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Apply lean manufacturing principles to manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.
3. Analyze manufacturing process flows for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
4. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing and production defects and identify corrective actions.
5. Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of engineering solutions.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement.
4. Strong experience with SolidWorks and other CAD software.
5. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
