Audio Visual Engineering Manager

Scope and Responsibilities

· Oversee and manage all AV Engineering

· Manage/Create/Maintain Standards for AV Documentation and Drawings

· Create Complete AV Drawing Packages containing (but not limited to) the following:

AV Functional Drawings

Device Locations, Floor Plans and Reflected Ceiling Plans

Rack Elevations

Structural Hardware and Mounting Details

Rough in Details and Elevations to support Other Trades work

Cable Labeling

Network and/or Control infrastructure.

· This position requires that the Engineering Manager be responsible for all deliverable drawings, regardless of their respective origin or author including outsourced engineering or other ICS contributors. In addition, this position is responsible for evaluating all drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper functionality.

· Take Direction and collaborate with Director of AV, AV Project Managers, Programmers and Field Leads.

· Coordinate and Prioritize Projects and Timelines as needed to meet deadlines

· Evaluate and validate specified material and product selections for proper functionality.

· Responsible for securing digital bid drawings and building backgrounds from Architects, consultants and engineers as applicable.

• · Manage and Supervise CAD Draftsman and Jr. Engineer.

CTS-D Certification a plus.
