We are seeking a talented Embedded System Engineer to lead the development, testing, and deployment of embedded software for a fast-paced startup to design and implement secure, efficient, and scalable embedded systems solutions that power cutting-edge medical device technology.
NOTE: 100% remote but MUST currently reside within Colorado State, or be willing to re-locate to Colorado
Salary: $120-145k + Equity
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of firmware for IoT med devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, hardware, software, regulatory, and clinical) to ensure seamless product integration and functionality.
- Oversee post-launch maintenance, debugging, and OTA updates for our fleet of devices, ensuring consistent performance and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in embedded C and microcontrollers/semi-conductors (ARM Cortex, STM32) with experience in communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).
- Strong understanding of hardware design principles, wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CAT-M), and low-power design.
