Job Description

SNAP Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Developer/Web Designer to fulfill a variety of requirements in support of our federal client in Washington, DC. This is a broad software development role – including custom application development for sandboxed solutions, systems integration, custom web parts and component development. Customization of the SharePoint solution such as re-branding, using products such as SharePoint Designer – some programming skills. The SharePoint Developer/Web Designer will be responsible for the following:

  1. Participate in project planning activities including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, resource planning, and infrastructure planning.
  2. Deep understanding of SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013 & 2016.
  3. Provide technical detail for SDLC, privacy, and security documentation.
  4. Create flowcharts, wire diagrams, and slides to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Demonstrate prototypes and concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Some coding and SharePoint configuration may be necessary.

Qualifications

  1. In depth knowledge and understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010/2013/2016 features and best practices.
  2. Must have experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint server deployments.
  3. Experience planning and building enterprise level SharePoint solutions.
  4. Experience planning and executing SharePoint migration 2007 to 2013.
  5. Experience migrating static websites to SharePoint 2013.
  6. Experience planning and building disaster recovery & business continuity plans.
  7. Experience SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.
  8. Hands on experience in .NET development.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  10. Experience working with Agile and waterfall project management practices.
  11. Familiarity with federal SDLC, privacy, accessibility, and security practices.
  12. SharePoint certifications.
  13. Security clearance +.
  14. Active public trust (minimum needed).
