Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of surface solutions used in many industries. They are in search of hands-on Process Engineers to join their team at their facility near Chattanooga, TN. They are looking to add both a Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer to this manufacturing facility.
As a Senior Process Engineer, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Become an expert of the manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Find ways to lower production costs
- Be a part of Lean Manufacturing activities and strategies
- Assist in the identification of areas needing improvement
- Manage manufacturing documentation
Job Requirements
As a Senior Process Engineer, job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a hands-on process/production engineering position
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
