Job Responsibilities:

1. Utilization of business, functional and/or technical expertise to develop and execute the test strategy and planning activities.
2. Work with multiple programs/systems on projects of moderate complexity and serve as a project team member.
3. Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
4. Lead and participate in test planning and quality review sessions.
5. Oversee the writing of test cases/scripts. Testing may include application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
6. Participate in daily calls as needed for appropriate hands-on testing.
7. Perform testing activities including planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting tasks.
8. Monitor and execute automation test activities for large-sized projects.
9. Work with Technical and Business groups to define the scope of testing required.
10. Research new tools and testing approaches and monitor the implementation of such items.
11. Post-test execution activities include error debugging, reporting needs, and internal and external communications.

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

1. 9+ years of related technical experience.
2. Hands-on automation testing experience.
3. Extensive knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, and network) and their application to business functions/processes.
4. Knowledge of testing tools, database concepts, and MS Office.
5. Experience working with Postman and JMeter.
6. Firm understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
7. Hands-on experience testing APIs, RESTful/JSON web services.
8. Financial services experience.

Desired:

1. Merchant Payment Processing – authorizations at either point-of-sale or Card-Not-Present (eCommerce/digital), clearing & settlement systems, merchant on-boarding, merchant reporting, fraud/security analytics.
2. Payment Processing for Financial Institutions, specifically for debit cards, loans, and/or credit card systems.
3. Experience with payment industry applications.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
