Job Summary

The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing plumbing systems for various projects. Duties

• Design and develop plumbing systems for commercial and residential buildings
• Conduct root cause analysis on plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed plumbing system drawings
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate plumbing systems into overall building designs
• Utilize engineering software such as Simulink, LabView, and SolidWorks for system analysis
• Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to plumbing system designs
• Operate CNC machinery for the fabrication of plumbing components

Experience

• Experience in the plumbing industry
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for plumbing system design
• Familiarity with engineering software like Simulink and LabView
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards governing plumbing systems
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis on plumbing issues is a plus
