We are searching for a Mid-to-Senior level Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus and a proven track record of building and optimizing WordPress sites on WP Engine. You should be proficient with Svelte.js (or a similar frontend framework), JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, Node.js and SASS / CSS3. Experience with Azure, SQL, Segment, Google Analytics/Tag Manager is a plus. We are looking for a versatile individual who is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance and optimization of WordPress sites hosted on WP Engine.
- Build responsive, high-performance frontend web apps for mobile and desktop using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using Node.js and PHP.
- Leverage WP Engine features to optimize site performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with marketing team to maintain and manage tracking tools such as Segment, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
- Extensive experience working with WordPress and managing sites on WP Engine.
- Proficiency in frontend framework(s), JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, CSS, HTML5, PHP.
- Experience with Azure, Segment, SQL, and Google Analytics/Tag Manager is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
- Strong collaboration skills, working across departments to deliver optimal solutions.
- Experience with Web Components and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap, Pico CSS).
Hybrid work model, up to two days remote weekly.
