Senior Engineer

The job itself

An opportunity has arisen for two Senior Engineers to join our award-winning Civil Engineering Services Group. The group is responsible for delivering some of the most high-profile and prestigious infrastructure projects across East Riding of Yorkshire.

As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee a wide range of planned highway maintenance and road safety engineering projects, ensuring they meet relevant standards and adhere to the Council’s policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualified to a HNC or equivalent in construction or related field.
2. Post qualification experience.
3. Good understanding and previous experience of managing planned highway maintenance or road safety schemes.
4. In-depth knowledge of the New Engineering Contract.
5. Experience of undertaking the role of NEC Project Manager.
