Candidates hired for this role will be required to start onsite from Day 1 following a hybrid work option, 2 to 3 days in the office. Please submit candidates who are local to either Dallas, Tampa, Jersey City, or Boston.

This is a contract-to-hire role. The client intends to convert the qualified candidate into FTE within a short time range!

Description:

1. Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure.
2. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java/TestNG/Selenium.
3. Support manual QA activities as needed.
4. Work closely with application developers and business analysts in an Agile development team.
5. Maintain traceability from business requirements, monitor external and internal dependencies, track test execution milestones, and report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.
6. Ensure all development lifecycle quality assurance for the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, and test plans and results, is completed according to standards.
7. Develop product knowledge and business domain knowledge.

Qualifications:

1. Minimal 1 – 2 years of experience in automated software testing or software development.
2. In-depth automated test development knowledge with Selenium.
3. Working knowledge of at least one major test framework, like TestNG, Junit, or similar.
4. Hands-on knowledge of SQL with one of the major databases is a strong plus.
5. Experience in back-end testing (API, DB, MQ, Stream), CI/CD pipelines, or Cloud technologies is a strong plus.
6. Capable of working on multiple work streams concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to represent QA principles within agile teams.
