Tech Support Engineer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Quick learner of new products and troubleshooting skills
• Pre-sales support: CCTV system design, customer-facing product presentation through webinar or visit customer’s company.
• Feel comfortable talking to customers face to face and work independently to host training events
• Great team member able to share knowledge and work with other team members
• Provide technical support via phone or email
• Use remote software to troubleshoot issues
• Document and research all inquiries or problems in ticketing system
• Test cameras related products and management software
• Assemble HDD to recorder
• Assist RMA process
• Able to travel to customer sites for training or troubleshooting (could be local or out of state)

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in video surveillance, CCTV, or IT Networking
• No experience is fine
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to both non-technical and technical audiences
• Proficiency with computers
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Able to travel occasionally both locally and within North America
