Electrical Engineer - Sonar - DSP

We seek a seasoned electrical hardware engineer with proven success taking products from the lab, through prototype and into production. This role will involve digital signal processing, embedded systems, interface design, along with sonar - acoustic sensors. You will lead complex projects from concept, design, and through completion. Develop timelines and ensure project success by maintaining timeline targets, budget responsibilities and quality requirements.

You will: Create innovative new product designs. Construct and maintain new product timelines. Evaluates prototype design(s) for performance and reliability. Conduct and document technical feasibility evaluations, qualifications field and competitive testing to verify the design. Formulates development, unit, and tooling cost estimates. Produce project documentation that includes prints, engineering files, supplier communications and Engineering Change Orders. 

Tech stack that will get our attention: Hands-on-experience with Digital Signal Processing concepts and algorithms. Designing, programming, and debugging embedded systems. Interfacing analog sensor instrumentation. Verilog. VHDL. FPGAs. MATLAB. C, C++. CAD/CAE.

Highly desirable: PhD/MS. Phased Array and Beamforming Algorithms. Fixed point arithmetic programming.

Title: Electrical Engineer (Senior to Principal Level)
