BECA, a Blue Alliance company, is a well-established IT services provider serving the greater Atlanta area for over 40 years. We are looking for the right person to fill the role of Advanced Services Engineer, whose primary responsibility is to provide direction, coordination, implementation, communication, and completion of projects to meet determined dates, and to advocate for and architect the Project Management process and procedures.

As a member of our Advanced Services team, an Advanced Services Engineer exemplifies above-average skills utilizing the company's CRM to ensure billing, phase management, timelines, resource utilization, and project work is completed to expectations.

Important Attributes for a BECA Advanced Services Engineer:

  • Plan, design, and manage projects within CRM
  • Communicate timeline and project scope changes to team and client
  • Track and monitor deliverables/milestones
  • Ensure all documentation, time, and expenses are associated with the correct project
  • Proper resource utilization and scheduling needed to achieve deliverables
  • Partner with team to define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Assist with escalated events for reactive-based incidents
  • Assist with the management of the organization's Datacenter and clients on shared infrastructure

And of course, your technical skills! This should include:

  • Ticketing software - Incident management, time allocation, projects, and opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of AzureAD and Microsoft 365 - Experience with migrating customers to a Modern Workplace environment with knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, M365 SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams
  • Microsoft Windows/Servers - Expert level enterprise operational support for all Microsoft on-prem technologies, server patching, exchange patching, and maintenance
  • Active Directory - Expert level enterprise operational support from domain controllers down to user creation
  • Networking - Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting skills, firewalls, ability to identify VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and circuit issues, excellent understanding of CMD line tools and software to identify network issues
  • Virtualization - Expert level enterprise operation support for VMware & Hyper-V from maintaining the host down to creating a new guest
  • Maintain required vendor certifications for authorizations
  • Software as assigned

As a BECA Advanced Services Engineer, we’re counting on you to:

  • Ensure project approval and vetting through CST
  • Document all notes, meeting minutes, and customer communications in company CRM
  • Document all client changes in documentation system ITGlue
  • Complete projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure all time and expenses are compliant with company policy
