Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven Engineering Manager with a strong background in gaming to join our innovative technology team. This is a permanent role that will require you to manage a team of engineers, drive the development of our gaming platform, and ensure the successful execution of our projects. You will be a part of a vibrant community that values collaboration, continuous learning, and most importantly, a passion for gaming.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality gaming software.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate processes, improving efficiency and product quality.
- Design and develop robust microservices architecture to ensure the scalability and reliability of our gaming platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering teams, to define and achieve collective goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging your team to explore new technologies and methodologies that can enhance our gaming products.
- Ensure the team adheres to high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop career paths for team members.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on gaming.
- Proven experience in managing and leading software engineering teams.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and other modern software development practices.
- Strong knowledge of gaming industry trends, technologies, and design philosophies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for turning complex problems into simple solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time and on budget.
- Passion for gaming, with a desire to create the best possible gaming experiences for our users.
