About the Team
Enterprise Engineering builds services ranging from network access to customer-facing software to meet the needs of our number one customer: Amazon. All Amazonians and variable staff rely on our products at all Amazon Corporate, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Retail, and affiliate sites across the globe.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of experience in design and development of Android Applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals such as Object-Oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience developing enterprise mobile applications
- Experience optimising mobile apps for performance
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Able to provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently make informed decisions
