We are partnered with an outstanding Geotechnical and Construction Engineering consultancy, who are one of the fastest growing companies in Jacksonville. They are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team, and manage their complex, technical projects. Senior Geotechnical Engineers here enjoy great autonomy, reporting directly to the owner, and getting trained to become Branch Managers in the next few years! There are opportunities to specialize in the technical or management side of affairs, or to engage in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the execution of geotechnical project assignments, including the company's most technical, complex projects.
· Supervise and manage progress of all geotechnical projects to ensure quality and
timely deliverables.
· Prepare technical proposal and reports, and provide advanced and insightful solutions to geotechnical engineering clients.
· Conduct critical reviews of field and laboratory test data, and provide geotechnical
recommendations.
· Train and mentor staff engineer, helping them with their professional and technical development.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
· Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida is required.
· 7+ years of Geotechnical Engineering experience
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
