Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
· Guardium Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the IBM Security Guardium Data Protection 11.5 infrastructure to ensure its continuous operation and effectiveness.
· Monitoring and Performance Assurance: Monitor Guardium infrastructure to meet performance, availability, and data security requirements, ensuring the environment operates at optimal levels.
· Security Compliance Configuration: Configure and enforce Guardium policies and rules to comply with security standards, ensuring data protection across the organization.
· Reporting and Alert Configuration: Develop and configure Guardium reports and alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues and outages.
· Incident Response: Respond promptly to business requests, incidents, and alerts impacting the Guardium environment, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
· Daily Health Checks: Perform daily health reviews of the Guardium infrastructure, addressing any identified issues or errors to maintain system integrity.
· Maintenance and Upgrades: Conduct regular upgrades, maintenance, and security patching of the Guardium infrastructure, ensuring the system is up-to-date and secure.
· Appliance Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Guardium collector and aggregator appliances, as well as GIM & S-TAP components on Windows Server and RHEL systems.
· Database Inspection Setup: Configure S-TAP inspection engines for databases, including MSSQL, Oracle Exadata, and UDB (DB2), ensuring robust data security monitoring.
· Disaster Recovery Management: Maintain and execute operational disaster recovery plans, supporting failover exercises and ensuring business continuity.
· Issue Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any reported issues related to the Guardium environment, ensuring minimal downtime and system reliability.
· Change and Problem Management: Adhere to established change management and problem management processes, ensuring consistent and controlled changes within the Guardium environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Technical Experience: Experience with Ansible, CyberArk, ServiceNow, and Active Directory to enhance integration and automation within the security environment.
· Cloud and Virtualization Support: Experience supporting Guardium in cloud environments like AWS, and virtualization platforms such as HyperFlex and VMware ESX.
· Database and OS Support: Proficiency in supporting Guardium for various databases (MSSQL, Oracle, UDB) and operating systems (Windows Server, RHEL, AIX, AS400).
· Guardium API and Automation: Experience using the Guardium API for automating configurations and reporting, as well as creating automated functional testing reports.
· Advanced Reporting and Alerts: Expertise in creating automated reports and alerts to monitor and test the functionality of the Guardium infrastructure proactively.
